My love of story-telling was nourished by repeated readings of Robert Graves’ classic retelling of the Greek myths. The narratives and characters which have stimulated and informed the Western consciousness for over two thousand years seared themselves upon my imagination.

Those myths led me from the blessed island of my childhood to the wind-scoured medieval streets of St Andrews to study the poets, philosophers, dramatists and biographers of the classical world. Master’s Degree in hand, the fickle winds of fate then drove me to Paris, Madrid, Rome, and finally to Nouméa, in New Caledonia, a South Pacific paradise.

But that’s enough of my story. I’m at your service to write your story, so that your voice might speak across the ages. Let a member of your family, a friend, or a stranger be moved to action, or tears, or laughter, or reflection, or a smile of recognition upon reading your unique life experience, whether of family, adventure, business or sport (to name but a few possibilities).

I’m available to travel to New Zealand from Nouméa with regular direct flights to Auckland. Please contact me for further information about dates, scheduling of sessions and prices. Alternatively, if you wish to take advantage of a holiday in New Caledonia, we can organise the recording sessions in the morning, leaving the rest of the day free for you to explore the island’s natural treasures or sample its unique blend of French sophistication and Oceanian relaxation.
