Ces missions sont toujours l'occasion de rencontres nouvelles. Auprès de personnes venant d'horizons si variés, il est tellement enrichissant d'apprendre chaque jour davantage !

Mars 2022 :

Pierre Nozières, Scribe de mémoire en France, a récemment coécrit ce livre de témoignage.
L'auteur Mohamed Mestar s'y réfère à une expérience de plus de trente ans dans la production musicale. Il pointe un regard affûté sur la situation des "quartiers déshérités de la République". Le livre est original par son approche et utile par les solutions qu'il invite à ranimer avant que la situation ne dégénère davantage. L'ouvrage est directement en prise avec une actualité dans laquelle se croisent et s'emmêlent exclusions sociales et belles expériences d'éducation populaire.
Face à l'écheveau des tensions, Mohamed évoque l'amour qui apaise les traumas et la musique qui libère les énergies contenues.

In Life Sentence (Random House) the author reveals details of some cases he worked on for PTSD : how the police force operates, and how one man's life can spiral so out of control. A kind of shared writing experience that “ghosts” are fond of.

If you want to learn the necessary skills, quickly, then attend Our founder Pierre Nozières's one-to-one training "From voice to paper". Within days, you will be able - step by step - to perform as a freelance private writer. You will get in touch with the recurring matters of the profession, and become prepared to overcome them.

According to your own language, This individual course (hereunder schedule) is delivered in either French or English. It can easily be performed by Google Meats with screen-sharing. This method was particularly suitable during the Covid pandemic. It remains highly efficient and user-friendly.

This is because our method has been thought out globally but is carried out locally.

When you hire a ghostwriter within the Scribes of memory, he/she becomes your confident as well as your biographer. Then, you tell us about your experiences, you set the pace, you sketch the images. By asking the respectful questions that one may expect from an experienced and properly trained practitioner, your memoir-writer helps you to form the right words and find your own author's voice. He/she takes note of the main sequences of your life, meetings, descriptions, anecdotes. He/she is attentive to the way you express your emotions. How to write your life book?

In the beginning are our clients' words. It is up to your private biographer, member of a large network, to enhance them properly and faithfully. Blending our writing into impeccable narrative provides us with the sense of art and pleasure expected of memoir-writing professionals.

Assembling memories into compelling pages takes concentration. In the light of this effort, and to avoid repetition, we collect digital recordings of our clients' stories. This audio source enables us to catch some rich or moving expressions which come from their lips during the powerful evoking of a relived past. Our difference with traditional street-corner letter-writers is that we produce books, instead of short texts.

In the writing of these records, the mission of your personal biographer is that your readers recognize your favorite expressions, the pace of your speech, your points of view, laughter, and the language that is uniquely yours. Usually, we need to rebuild the chronology, that our conversations disrupt by jumping from one subject to another. We also offer you different structures: for example, by using a fictional technique to dramatize the story, starting with a flash-back on a major event which gave a direction to your life.

Once the accepted text of your book, after the successive deliveries for which the number and the frequency vary according to the deadline you have defined for your book project, we reach the ready for press stage. This final draft,meticulously edited by your personal writer in pages mixed with your photographs, can be modified as much as necessary. You need to be completely happy with the final draft that is going to be printed.

Then, after a last proofreading, usually comes the time of a print-on-demand self-publication. All that you will have to do is to tell your scribe how many books you need, pay a deposit, and wait for your books to arrive. Chances are, your story may succeed in catching the attention of a mainstream publisher. If so, it may be found, one day, in bookshop windows. If you wish to market your book to a larger audience, please let your Scribe know early in the process, as this will affect the size of the manuscript and how much additional research is needed to make it commercially attractive.
